The tourism exchange plaza “Araessa♪ YASUGI” opened in April 2008.
It was built as a base for disseminating information about Yasugi City, a place for “meeting, gathering, and relaxing”.
It is located at the entrance to Yasugi City, near Yasugi Station.
The facility serves as a city community center, combining services including an administrative service corner,a gallery tourism information, and a small shop selling local products.

The visible beams made of local wood give the building a feeling of spaciousness.
You can get tourist information about the Izumo region here as well as information about the city.
An introduction to Yasugi City is always aired on the 57-inch information system.
There is also a figure of Yasugi’s mascot “Ara Essa-kun”.
You can spend a meaningful time even while waiting.
