Katsuhi Takamori Shrine
Katsuhi Shrine is described in Kojiki (oldest history book in Japan), and when Ookuninushi-no-mikoto was thinking, it is said that light appeared from the sea and helped the land management, and it is said that Ookuninushi-no-mikoto’s life called Sakitama at the foot of the mountain is Oki Takato (Omichi-no-Mikoto) at the foot of the mountain.
When the Heike warlord Fujiwara Kagekiyo entered Izumo and castle was built it in Gassan, and Toda Hachimangu Shrine was moved.
At that time, the “Legend of Yatatematsu” which fired the arrow of the white feather and defined the place where it was inside as the place of satomiya remains.
Currently, Katsuhitakamori Shrine at the top of the mountain is Okumiya against this Satomiya.
The faith of the successive castle owners of Gassan Toda Castle was strong, and especially Mr. Amago strongly believe in particularly enthusiastic.
