Produced with precision traditional craftsmanship that does not use any nails.
Kumiko work creates a unique space
Kumiko work, originally designed to divide space, is now three-dimensionally designed.
While using traditional methods, we create spaces of artistic and subtle beauty.
Kumiko work is a traditional technique in which thin boards are combined by hand to weave precise patterns.
The work of the maker, Mr. Kadowaki, was designated as Shimane Prefecture’s hometown traditional craft in 2000.
