Infomation
138 Kiyomizu-cho, Yasugi-city
Yasugi’s specialty, “Shimizu Yokan”, was born as a Buddhist vegetarian dish in the Yasugi Shimizu Shrine. Since its founding, it has been manufactured in-house using only adzuki beans, agar and sugar as ingredients, and is particular about “additive-free”, “handmade”, and “unique texture”.
This yokan is a little different from regular yokan, with a rustic and rustic appearance, a fragrant aroma of red beans, a moderate sweetness and a harmonious flavor, and a soft texture on the tongue.
