Breweries serving Iwami-style beer
RONDIN BREWERY opened in Arashima in 2024. Using agricultural products from the Sanin region, mainly Yasugi City, as secondary ingredients, they brew heartwarming craft beer using a method known as the Iwami style.
They offer three types of beer: Toma Sapiens, made with plenty of home-grown tomatoes; a red ale made with Kameji rice from Arashima; and a light ale made with freshly pressed sake lees and brewing water from Gassan, a famous sake from Yasugi. These beers won gold and bronze medals respectively at the Japan Great Beer Awards 2025.
The illustrations were created by Negosix, a solo comedian from Yasugi City.
This beer is easy to drink even for beginners, so please try it while thinking of the primitive scenery of Yasugi City. Be primitive!!
