Mount Mikasa
Infomation
Tomita, Hirose Town, Yasugi City
It is called Mikasayama because it has three cap-shaped mountains overlapping.
It is located on the opposite shore of Mt. Gassan, behind the town of Hirose, and has a gentle shape.
It is said that long ago, Yamanaka Shikanosuke worshiped the crescent moon hanging over Mt. Mikasa and prayed, “Please grant me seven hardships and eight hardships.”
Of course, the statue of Shikanosuke at the ruins of gassan-Tomita Castle was erected facing this Mikasa Mountain.
