During excavations in the Heisei era, traces of facilities such as pillar buildings were discovered. Black soil was confirmed in the pillars, and the pillars of the current building are placed there. Considered to be a samurai residence, pieces of Karatsu ware and seeds of medicinal herbs have been found.
The castle road from Mikomoriguchi can be seen, and it is thought that it also functioned as a defensive base. There is a moat on the summit side, and it is thought that a wooden bridge was hung in normal times.
The rammed earth construction method is confirmed in the lower section of the kuruwa, and you can learn about a part of civil engineering technology at that time.
