Around Nishinada-cho, Yasugi-cho, Yasugi-shi
Since the Edo period, Yasugi has developed greatly as a shipping port for tatara iron manufacturing, and commerce has also developed.
From the Meiji period onwards, with the construction of a steel mill,
the city prospered as a steel town and became even more bustling.
The city’s prosperous history remains in the cityscape, and it still has a nostalgic atmosphere.
